ApricotApricot is a new service that is in the beginning stages of development. Right now you can register for the pilot and and use it with your students and parents as they seek input to meet the needs of teachers.
Sometimes with formative assessments, it is beneficial to gather some narrative from your students on what they know, what they have questions about or what they want to know. Apricot allows you to gather this type of information from your students by posing questions to the students. They respond and if desired you can send the results to the parents. For example, after studying a unit, the students could respond to a specific prompt, given by the teacher, that is shared with parents. This lets the parents know what the student if learning in class and can be a conversation starter in the home. Once, you are given the okay to begin using Apricot the steps are fairly simple to get started. (Video to come on how to use Apricot) |
